As for the education of international students, the college is mainly responsible for the management of the academic qualifications, the processing of residence permits, the teaching of Chinese language and the daily management of international students, etc. The college can independently recruit students for long-term and short-term Chinese language study. IEC pays attention to the cultural education of international students and regularly organizes and carries out various Chinese and foreign cultural exchange activities to enrich the life of international students at school. Students from more than 30 countries including the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Germany, France, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, etc., have studied at IEC. Since the establishment of the college, it has cultivated more than 1100 foreign students. At present, there are totally 103 international students enrolled, including 64 undergraduates, 8 masters and 31 doctoral students.
